Hi, I'm Eva!

 

I am a German born, LA raised, dancer, performer, teacher, bookworm, former pageant queen, and aspiring adventurer. Just your average or maybe not so average girl from LA, trying to live my life to the fullest. 

 

Originally Travel by My Side started as somewhere to share my travels and document it for myself. But as more and more planning went into it, I realized I wanted to create a guide and a resource for people who want to travel, but don't have much experience. I may not be the most qualified (I am definitely not the most qualified), but I think that's perfect. I can make the mistakes so you don't have to. I can share my experiences jumping into this headfirst, any problems I encounter, how I solved them, & tips to make things easier.

As the new normal has changed greatly in the past few years, the direction of this blog has as well. While I still will be sharing my travels and tips, I'd love to introduce new challenges life brings along the way. From getting engaged, to planning a wedding, being first time home owners, and a first time mom, I plan on sharing all the ins and outs of navigating the new normal and "adulting".

 

So, travel by my side as I take you along through my life and around the world!
